Step 1: Inquire
Send us an e-mail message (email@example.com) inquiring as to whether the item(s) of interest to you are still available. Include the name of the item and/or the inventory number and your e-mail address. Our site updates are periodic, so please be aware that items may have sold in the interim.
We will respond as quickly as possible to your inquiry. If the item(s) are available they will be reserved for you. We will only reserve the item(s) for 24 hours while we await your order message. After this time they will be offered to the next interested customer.
Step 2: Order
Send us an e-mail message indicating your desire to order an item(s). Please include the following information:
Your full name,
Your full mailing address,
List item numbers and include the name of each item that you wish to purchase.
Your e-mail address.
We will calculate the appropriate shipping charges, confirm and total your order, and send the address for payment via e-mail.
Step 3: Send payment
Payment must be made in US funds and full payment is required before items will be shipped. Payments may be made by USPS money order (green Domestic money orders only), or electronically by credit card or bank account via PayPal only. We cannot accept credit card or bank/debit card payments by any method other than PayPal. If payment is not received within 8 days of our confirmation of your order, the order will be cancelled and the item(s) offered to the next interested customer.
We are pleased to offer a Layaway Plan with a Customer Protection Guarantee* on purchases over $300.00 US.
Twenty-five percent (25%) of the order total is payable immediately as a deposit, with a minimum required deposit of $100.00 US.
The balance of the purchase (including shipping) is payable monthly, for a time period that is tailored to the order (up to 6 months).
There are NO RETURNS on items that have been in Layaway. If the item is deemed to be unsatisfactory according to our return policy below, it may be exchanged under the stated terms in the return policy for a credit towards another purchase. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
*CUSTOMER PROTECTION GUARANTEE: The Doll Remembers When agrees in the event that the customer is unable for any reason to complete the layaway contract, that the amount paid on the account to date becomes a Credit to be applied towards an item in our inventory for a period of up to two years from the date of the original purchase.
All reasonable care will be taken to safeguard items which have been reserved on layaway against loss or damage. In the unlikely event that a layaway item is lost or damaged due to an event beyond the control of The Doll Remembers When such as, but not limited to, a Natural Disaster, Act of God, flood, earthquake, fire etc., the customer agrees that The Doll Remembers When cannot and will not be held liable for attendant damages suffered by the customer as a result of such loss or damage to the layaway item over and above the reimbursement of all monies paid on the account to date.
